Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves has said that the side will go into every game this season looking to take all three points no matter what opponents they face.
Ruben Neves said “Everton is a great team, they’ve shown that already this season. They had a bad result, and I think that’s one more reason for them to come with everything to Molineux, so I think we need to be prepared and we need to be at our best to get a good result. For us of course a good result is the win mainly because we are playing in front of our fans again.”
The run of good form for Wolves have seen them climb up to 11th in the Premier League table and just two points off Tottenham Hotspur in sixth place. While the possibility of continuing to close in on the European places is there with a win over Everton, Neves says that Wolves are taking things a game at a time, while giving an insight into Lage’s mentality this season.
Ruben Neves said “We look to play our game, game by game we look to play our football, we look to play as the manager wants us to play. We have everything to play well, we have all the information, we have a great group, we work really hard during the week so I think we have everything to win games and we’ll try to do our best to win as many games as we can. That’s our goal, win game by game, try to get the three points in every single one, it doesn’t matter if it’s home or away, it doesn’t matter the opponent, we try to do our best.”
Bruno Lage ’s side host Everton at Molineux on Monday night as they look to take their unbeaten run to four games in the Premier League. Everton, meanwhile, are on a run of three league games without a win and fell to a shock 5-2 loss against Watford in their last outing. Despite that result, Neves is expecting a tough test when the Toffees visit Molineux.
