Les Ferdinand was rated extremely doubtful for the upcoming crucial FA cup tie against Manchester City at Loftus Road. Ferdinand sustained a groin injury in training. He also missed the 3-1 loss against Manchester United and QPR boss Gerry Francis was reluctant to risk his prized asset.
Gerry Francis said “If we are to be realistic, we really miss him in terms of his pace and aerial power. We can get by without Ray Wilkins but you can’t get by without a goal scorer.”
