But there is nothing to worry about, according to Frank Lampard, who has made the decision to rest Silva following the defender’s international outings with Brazil.
Frank Lampard said “He travelled back from South America. It was a long journey, so I think it was the right thing to do, We’ve got centre-backs, Toni Rudiger comes in, so you want players to come in and keep the same levels. Thiago has set a fantastic standard, but we have to look after him because of his age.”
