Leicester City fans have fired back at Brentford boss Thomas Frank after the Brentford manager said his Bees side had “hammered” the Foxes in the first half. Reflecting on the game afterwards,
Thomas Frank said: “We hammered a team in the first half that finished in the top five last season. They didn’t have anything apart from a moment of luck or quality. Tielemans is very good, but he’s not even scoring that 10 out of 100 times. We deserved to win.”
Brendan Rodgers’ side sealed a 2-1 win over the Bees and had taken the lead when Youri Tielemans’ scorcher after 14 minutes put them in command. Mathias Jorgensen had equalised for the hosts in the 60th minute but James Maddison struck the winner to seal a memorable week for the Foxes.
