Bruno Lage’s Wolverhampton Wanderers career began with a 1-0 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday. Jamie Vardy netted the only goal of the game four minutes before half-time to give City the win.
Bruno Lage said: “First half we didn’t find the space between lines to play to our plan, which was to find the space between lines and create chances. The first 25 minutes, we controlled everything band we can find that space two or three times and that’s why in the transition we have a good situation for Adama Traore.”
On the returning Raul Jimenez, who played for the first time in a Premier League game since November last year,
Bruno Lage added: “I think he did well, the way he worked for the team. I just have one word for him: just be confident. The goals are coming. The way you work, you’re going to help us win games.”
