Jurgen Klopp declared himself “absolutely fine” with the nature of Liverpool’s equaliser in their 2-1 win over West Brom. Klopp, though, was unimpressed with the amount of free-kicks that went the way of Sam Allardyce’s Baggies and said he was perfectly content with how his team got themselves back into the game.
Jurgen Klopp said: “I didn’t think for a second that anything went in our direction. I saw one team playing football all the time and one team getting all the free-kicks, so when we get one free-kick today, if it is not right, I am absolutely fine with that.”
Alisson Becker’s stoppage-time winner keeps alive Liverpool’s hopes of a top-four finish with Chelsea and Leicester set to meet on Tuesday night.
Jurgen Klopp added: “How I said, I don’t know if things have turned or not, we just want to keep going. We have to keep going. We know how difficult Turf Moor will be without supporters, that’s really one of the toughest places you can go to, so we have to be ready.”
