Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has confirmed star forward Teemu Pukki is a doubt for their trip to face Manchester United in the Premier League. The 29-year-old was named the Premier League player of the month for August but is yet to score in his last four appearances with Norwich rooted to the bottom of the table. Manchester United welcome Farke’s men to Old Trafford after cup ties against Wolves and Manchester City hoping to bounce back from their defeat to Arsenal on New Years Day.
Daniel Farke said “Teemu Pukki is out for tomorrow, he has a little hamstring strain. He’s struggling with his toe as well. I can’t predict whether he’s available for the Manchester United game.”
The Canaries’ attacking talisman has played all but 13 minutes of the club’s Premier League campaign. Add in a leading role spearheading Finland’s qualification for this summer’s European Championships and is it any wonder the prolific frontman has looked a shade below his best since damaging his toe at Leicester.
