Enzo Maresca claims Chelsea’s climb to Title Contender Status – Not There Yet!

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca was discussing the current standing of his team in relation to them being considered title contenders. He emphasized that despite their recent performance, Chelsea is not yet in the title race.
Enzo Maresca said “Absolutely. Arsenal have been there in the last two years close to Man City and we have been very far from City.”
Enzo Maresca continued to express his perspective on Chelsea’s position by comparing it to the established title contenders, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City. He conveyed that while being in the title race is a desirable pressure, it is currently not the reality for Chelsea.
Enzo Maresca said “To be in the title race is a nice pressure for me and the players, we like that pressure. But it is not our case because Arsenal in the last two years they have been there with Liverpool and City and we were not there. Hopefully soon, we can be there.”
