Pep Guardiola has labelled Manchester City’s match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday as a ‘cup final’ after they pulled clear of Liverpool in the title race.
Pep Guardiola said: “Today we spoke for the first time, I said: ‘You have the perfect life in the perfect club.’ Our fans, when they are disappointed they don’t behave like (it). They have been coming here from day one, in the warm up supporting, cheering. The fans don’t doubt that these guys have done this for many years. We are three points in front, (with) nine points to play for, goal difference four goals ahead, so we have another final on Wednesday. They are one of the teams that we have suffered a lot (against) in these last two, three, four years since Nuno took over, and now with Bruno. It’s a final for us.”
