Manchester City took another big step towards the Premier League title with a 1-0 win against challengers Chelsea at the Eithad on Saturday afternoon. After the game, Tuchel explained that he felt his side lost the game as the individual displays of City far exceeded those of his team – particlularly in the final third.
Thomas Tuchel said: “I think we lost on the individual performance and the individual performance in one situation today,” he told his post-match press conference. In terms of attitude, commitment, defensive-wise, I am happy because we did not allow too many big changes, we kept them to a minimum of big chances, kept them to a minimum of dangerous deliveries.
