Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has named Jack Grealish as one of his standout players so far this season. Grealish has impressed, scoring five times and providing a further six assists in his 11 Premier League appearances in 2020/21. That form has earned him praise from around the game, and Henderson, who lifted the Premier League title with Liverpool last season is the latest to join in the praise, even picking Grealish over some of his teammates as the standout player of the season.
Jordan Henderson said “Jack Grealish has been really good so far. I think he’s improved, matured and has taken his game to another level, He’s one of the players that’s been a standout this season I’d say. Obviously I’d be biased and I’d say a lot of my teammates as well but I’d probably pick Jack so far. There are only a handful of teams that are going to be able to afford Grealish, but I’d love to see him at Liverpool, I can just imagine him linking up seamlessly with that Liverpool front three. I can see him suiting Jurgen Klopp’s style of play because he’s got the work rate; he does a job at both ends of the pitch.”
