Harvey Elliott believes that Roberto Firmino is the most underrated player in the Liverpool squad – and sees similarities between himself and the Brazilian. The youngster returned to action at the start of February when he came on as a substitute in Liverpool’s win over Cardiff City in the fourth round of the FA Cup. In a Q&A on the Playmaker Instagram account, Elliott said when asked who is the most underrated player at Liverpool
Harvey Elliot said: “I would say the most underrated player must be Bobby. The touches I have compared to him must be similar!”
Firmino has been one of Jurgen Klopp’s most important players at Liverpool, but he doesn’t get the recognition he deserves from football fans.
Harvey Elliot added: “It’s always a great thing to score, but after being out for so long and being able to score my first goal in my first game back since being injured it’s a dream come true. I’m happy that I took the chance and hopefully many more to come.”
