Bruno Lage has pointed out that Wolverhampton Wanderers had fewer first team stars available than Chelsea for today’s game after the Blues asked the Premier League to postpone it. Quizzed on the state of the Premier League after Wolves’ 0-0 draw with Chelsea at Molineux on Sunday,
Bruno Lage said: “I’m not the right person to talk about it. If the games are cancelled, we need to take the right and the fair decisions for everyone. We must try to understand why some games are not cancelled and we are playing. We are playing and we have some injuries. Even though Chelsea have some Covid problems, I think they had more players than us for today. Another thing is about the league table. If some teams are playing and other teams are not playing, then the league table is hard. Some of the teams will need to play four or five more games.”
