Cherries came from 2-0 down with just three minutes to play to win 3-2, with three goals in nine minutes stunning the home side. The Basque boss felt the result was a reward after the opening games did not produce the results that performances deserved.
Andoni Iraola told “For us, it was a key win because I think we didn’t get the rewards we deserved the previous games and also after the break we have games against Chelsea, against Liverpool. “In theory at least, they are very difficult. “So for us to get this win, I think is very important and also is fair considering everything, how we started the season, because I feel like the players have done a very, very good job in these first four games.”
Cherries headed to Goodison Park with two points from two games on the hunt for their first win of the season. They return after the international break to the Vitality Stadium, hosting Chelsea at 8pm on Saturday, September 14.
