Graham Stuart Everton

Graham Stuart of Chelsea had caused a lot of pain to Everton in the previous season. He scored the winning goal for Chelsea that knocked Everton out of the coca-cola cup at Goodison Park. Then he scored a goal against the Toffees at Stamford Bridge before a controversial handball from him led to a late winner for Chelsea in the same match. But the 22-year-old had switched from West London blues to Merseyside blues and was set to become a fan favourite if his first interview was anything to go by.

Graham Stuart said “I like to take players on and I like to score goals. I wanted first team football and Everton provided me that. But the attraction was obviously more than that. Everton haven’t won anything for a few years now but they are all about success. I didn’t exactly see much success at Chelsea and Goodison is a great place to play football.”
