Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool will feel no pressure when they entertain Wolves at Anfield on Sunday as they aim to win the Premier League title.
Jurgen Klopp said: “I cannot talk about pressure for the other team but it’s like this for us, there is no pressure. We know that we have to win the football game but we’ve had that now for a while. It’s not about ‘what if’. We don’t have that. If City have that, I don’t know. I am 100% sure it is normal that when we played Southampton (on Tuesday) and were 1-0 down that some people from City will be aware of that. It’s the moment where you think: ‘that would be nice’. And then we had the moment where we turned it around and took it to the wire.”
Jurgen Klopp added: “For us, it is pretty positive, it is so special and if you have something to lose it feels different, but we don’t have that. We have been in situations like this before and we know it is not easy but most of the time we have dealt with it OK, so I have no reason to think why Man City wouldn’t but the situation is different. Ours is full throttle, give it a try and let’s see what the outcome is. We haven’t won this game yet in all our talking about it so we have to play 95 incredibly difficult minutes with all the positivity around and before the game probably and during the game, hopefully. It’s a tough opponent and I’ve seen these games before. Not when I was involved but I have watched them when one team is really going for it and then oh, 1-0 for the other team. Then you have to deal with that so it’s like it is. All fine. We are where we are, so let’s finish it on a high.”
