#PLStories- #LewisDunk brands officiating ’embarrassing’ after #VAR and whistle drama #BHAFC

Brighton and Hove Albion captain Lewis Dunk has branded the fall-out of his goal that never was ‘embarrassing’ after the Seagulls left West Brom empty-handed on Saturday.

Lewis Dunk said: “Who knows? It’s embarrassing. I’ve got to come and speak about it in front of the camera, why doesn’t he speak about it? Why doesn’t he come and say what he thought? I know what he said. I asked him if I could take the free kick, he said yes, and I scored. He gave the goal, and then there were massive protests from them, and he’s changed his mind. In short, there was too much mayhem to get a conversation with him. He wouldn’t speak to me at half time, so I still don’t know. You probably know more than me. All I got told is that I could take the free kick, I’ve taken it and scored and he’s changed his mind.”

Dunk, found the decision making to be shambolic and he blasted Mason for what he deemed to have been a reversal of a call that ultimately cancelled out a legal goal.
