#PremierLeagueStories – Crystal Palace Chief #SteveParish Outlines club’s financial ambitions #CPFC

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has said he wants the Eagles to be hitting the financial bracket of clubs like Everton, Newcastle and Aston Villa over the next few years. It is now ten years since Parish and the CPFC 2010 consortium took over the club, after saving Palace from a looming liquidation on June 1, 2010. Since then, Palace has gone from strength to strength, gaining promotion to the Premier League in 2013 and staying in the top tier ever since, with the Eagles now well placed for an eighth successive season in the top flight.

Steve Parish said “It’s the financial bracket with clubs like Everton, Newcastle, Aston Villa, West Ham and Leeds we want to hit. There are relatively few clubs among the 92 in the pyramid who, if they were to get to the Premier League, can get around £50million to £55million annually in non-media income. We are at around £32million and we can get in that main group with that main stand extension. You just can’t get any more out of that stadium as it is.”
