Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium, temporarily renamed ‘Everton Stadium’ for the tournament, has been selected to host five matches during the UEFA Euro 2028. This marks a significant milestone in the club’s history, as the stadium will welcome a last-16 knockout clash and four group games. The announcement highlights the venue’s capacity to host major sporting events and promises an economic boost for the Liverpool City Region.

The matches at Everton Stadium are scheduled to take place on June 11, 14, 17, and 20, 2028, with the last-16 fixture set for June 24, 2028. The stadium’s inclusion in the tournament is expected to provide a multi-million-pound economic boost to the region. The city of Liverpool has unveiled a host city logo featuring the iconic Royal Liverpool Building, symbolizing the city’s rich heritage and readiness to welcome football fans from around the world.
