Mike Walker said that he would send out his Norwich City troops in Arnhem with orders to attack despite holding a three-goal advantage from the first leg. This was despite the fact that the Canaries had conceded 17 goals in five away games domestically that season and Walker felt that he did not think that his side would let go a three-goal advantage.
Mike Walker said “I have been in the game long enough to know nothing is certain but we must make sure it does not happen to us. They will have to force the issue but we can suck them in and have players with place to hit them on the break. I believe we can score an away goal which will effectively kill the tie.”
