Former Newcastle United forward Louis Saha has achieved remarkable success off the pitch, with his business venture, AxisStars, reaching a valuation that surpasses the net worth of former Magpies owner Mike Ashley. Saha, who had a brief loan spell at Newcastle in 1999, enjoyed a distinguished playing career, notably with Manchester United, where he won multiple titles.
Saha’s entrepreneurial journey has led to AxisStars being valued at an impressive £4.3 billion. This figure not only eclipses Ashley’s estimated £3.8 billion net worth but also dwarfs the £600 million net worth of Saha’s former Manchester United teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo. AxisStars, co-founded with Kate Hamer, focuses on creating connections between professional athletes, entertainers, and their trusted partners.
Louis Saha said: “I still get asked for advice by different people on a daily basis. For instance, my agent called me to say he had a talented French footballer who he wants to bring to England, and asked me for advice on how to create a tailor-made training programme. I put him in touch with people I used to work with. This kind of player could join Axis as he can then search for a personal coach in his region. It is a hard process but it’s so rewarding, because if I can help 100,000 people, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Saha’s comments highlight the impact of AxisStars, which he believes has surpassed the significance of his football career. The venture, which he co-founded with Hamer and technological executive Patrice Arnera, aims to provide a platform for athletes and entertainers to connect with peers and trusted partners.
Saha’s post-football success story is a testament to his vision and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, leveraging his experience and network to support the next generation of talent.
