Marcus Rashford has scored 64 goals for Manchester United in his time at Old Trafford so far but he has admitted that the feeling of scoring his first goal for the club at FC Midtjylland has never been replicated. Rashford scored twice on his debut in a Europa League match after Anthony Martial suffered an injury in the warm-up. The Mancunian lad followed it up with another two goals against Arsenal three days later. But another 60 goals later, Rashford still rates that first goal for the club as his favourite so far and their FA cup final win over Crystal Palace in 2016 as his favourite moment with the club.
Marcus Rashford said, “You know, every other goal after that, it’s not quite the same as that first goal, I just felt grateful, really, to have the opportunity to play for the club and to be able to score goals like the one on my debut. There’s obviously a few moments. I’d say the FA Cup final when we won it in 2016 [against Crystal Palace]. That was one of the standout moments because it was the first trophy, I actually joined the campaign sort of midway through the FA Cup, so it was nice. I started the season in the Youth Cup and finished it by winning the FA Cup. So it was a nice feeling.”
