Referees accept few mistakes in VAR decisions

Premier League has acknowledged the VAR decision’s were incorrect in few situations.
Marco Silva’s side were 2-1 up when Michael Keane was adjudged to have fouled Aaron Connolly following a contentious review by Lee Mason. Premier League have privately admitted an error was made on the advice of video referee Lee Mason. Everton were also denied a penalty at home to Tottenham Hotspur previous weekend when Dele Alli handled the ball.
Riley, a former referee and the managing director of the officials body Professional Game Match Officials Limited previous had pointed more mistakes during opening rounds of the season – Two penalties which should have been awarded to Manchester City and West Ham, and that a Newcastle goal should have been ruled out for offside. Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans should also have been sent off for his challenge on Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson in the match on August 31.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits Manchester United are “out of reach” when it comes to challenging for the Premier League title, but he is setting his sights on other trophies.
He told reporters: “I don’t want to stop winning in cups because the Premier League trophy is out of our reach. We are too far behind the top teams. Any trophy you can get your hands on we are going to go for – but we need to improve our league form definitely. You always get assessed on results now, but the DNA of this club – and it’s always been in our philosophy and my philosophy to give young players with the right attitude a chance and if that takes a couple of years for him to really, really come through, it’s worth it for us. I’m managing for Man Utd, I’m not managing for me.”.

Frank Lampard wins prestigious manger of the month award

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for October.
On his reaction to the award, Lampard said “Winning an individual award like this is the perfect time to appreciate the close staff who have worked so hard since pre-season and the players, as they are the ones who go out and perform. I am delighted for everybody. Out of the Premier League games we played in October, the one away against Burnley was the highlight because of the way we were so dominant in our performance and it is a very tough place to go.”
Apart from Lampard, Jamie Vary also won player of the month award for October. Vardy, 32, played a crucial role for Leicester as they established themselves as legitimate top-four contenders in October, netting four goals in three appearances.

Eddie Howe urges his team to grind results

Eddie Howe has praised the “steeliness” Bournemouth have demonstrated in recent weeks but urged his side must “push on” from their win against Manchester United last weekend.
Eddie believed his team were buoyed by consecutive performances where team had defended well and got clean sheets. Howe said “Last week was great and we were really pleased with the performance and a lot of aspects of our play. But the most important thing for us now is to try and push on from that performance and try to hit or get close to that level every week.I will just be saying to our team out of possession to continue their good work. To have the same mentality we have shown in recent weeks because I have been really pleased with that side of our game. We have had a steeliness in the last few games that has made a big difference and we want that to be part of our DNA.”

The general impression of PREMIER LEAGUE FANS so far was Eddie Howe is a strong organizer of his team in attack but defense is chaotic.
