Southampton boss Ruben Selles expects a tough meeting with Leicester City who have been doing “things really well” over the last few years. Leicester will go head-to-head with the Saints on the south coast this Saturday (5:30pm). Both clubs were defeated by teams from lower divisions in the FA Cup fifth round in midweek, leaving them winless in their last two games. Saints are bottom of the Premier League, having secured just 18 points from 24 games, while City are just three points above the relegation zone. Speaking ahead of the clash,

Ruben Selles said: “We had a good experience against them in the first part of the season when we were losing 1-0 and then we came back with two goals from Che Adams. And sometimes it’s difficult for a manager to find the consistency in the team. I think they have a good team. I think they have a good manager, they have been doing things really well for the last years. This season probably is not what they expected but it’s not for ourselves. I think Brendan [Rodgers] and his staff will sit and research us and they will try to get something good from that. So I can expect a football match with both teams that want to win, because it’s important for both teams. And I can expect both teams doing the things that they have been doing more often or less often than they want to do. It’s going to be really, really equal and that’s our target to make an equal game and then to have the moments to take the game for us.”
