Pablo Sarabia has spoken about the positive adaptation he’s had since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers. The 30-year-old arrived in the January transfer window from Paris Saint-Germain. Prior to his move to Wolves, he spent a season-long loan at Sporting Lisbon, making 23 goal contributions in 29 Primeira Liga games.

Pablo Sarabia said: “It was clear to me that I had to leave Paris, I wasn’t having minutes.  Being in the best stage of my career, I felt bad having to wait on the bench for the opportunity to play when the top three were injured. It is an atypical situation, I wanted to play.”

Asked about his time at Molineux so far, the Spaniard couldn’t be any happier.

Pablo Sarabia said: “I am very happy to have come to England, to this club, with the coach, with my teammates, everything is positive for me. It’s all very familiar and that is appreciated. It has been a year of many changes, I landed back in Paris after having been in Lisbon, then we went to the World Cup, then I signed for Wolverhampton, then… I had twins!”
