Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that he was “frustrated” with Edinson Cavani despite his Manchester United heroics. Cavani’s strike at Craven Cottage was his fourth of the season, and Solskjaer was full of praise for his performance, but wasn’t completely pleased. Speaking after the game, the United boss admitted that he has been “frustrated” when Cavani doesn’t get into the penalty area, believing that it’s in the box where he is most influential on the game.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer  said “He’s the centre forward you want in the box. His movement is incredible and it’s something everyone can learn from. It’s almost like I get frustrated at times when he goes wide to put crosses in because he’s the one you want in there. Sometimes I have to ask him to do less running. But even in the second half, the header, great save by [Fulham goalkeeper Alphonse] Areola. His movement is spot on. He’s a type of centre forward we’ve been looking for and he compliments Marcus [Rashford], Mason [Greenwood] and Anthony [Martial] really well.”

The experienced striker has been in fine form for United since arriving on a free transfer, and most recently bagged himself a goal in Wednesday night’s away win at Fulham.
