Newcastle United defender Dan Burn has insisted he is keen for the Magpies to continue their recent momentum as Eddie Howe’s side look to confirm their survival heading into the latter stages of their 21/22 Premier League campaign. Speaking to the club’s official channels following the announcement of his player of month award,
Dan Burn said: “It’s very special to win the award – and I have to thank my family for voting loads of times! It’s been an amazing couple of months since I’ve been here, it could barely have gone better, and I’m glad that people have thought I’ve been playing well. Hopefully I can carry that on towards the end of the season and keep the momentum going. Nothing’s done yet, so we’ll try to get safe as soon as possible. We’ve got some tough games coming up and we just need to keep on picking up results.”
