Lee Bowyer has played down speculation linking Dion Sanderson with a return to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window. But Bowyer insisted he is not worried
Lee Bowyer said: “No, I don’t see why,” the head coach said. Dion wasn’t the only one, they got all their loan players back just to check on them and see where they are fitness wise. I am not concerned about that. I don’t see why Wolves would call him back when he is settled here, playing, doing well, improving. I think it’s a good challenge for him to be at this club.”
Until his injury Sanderson has dislodged Harlee Dean from the starting line-up but the pair could both play alongside Marc Roberts against the Tigers.
