English football’s newest star Jürgen Klinsmann started the season in an impressive fashion scoring a goal against Sheffield Wednesday on his debut to give his team a thrilling 3-4 win against Sheffield Wednesday. He made his home debut against Everton and scored twice in his home debut to give six points to Spurs that month, which wiped out the penalty given to the North London club for financial irregularities by their previous owners in 1980s. The German was an instant hit at North London and ended up scoring 31 goals for Spurs that season.
