Lee Sharpe Enjoying his New Role at Manchester United and wants to score for England
Lee Sharpe had had a flying start to the season at Manchester United and he was a surprise early front runner among the premiership hot shots with four goals in the opening six games. He admitted he was not expected to stay wide all the time and the freedom to cut inside had added goals to his game and he wanted to perform a goal celebration dance in England shirt as well.
Lee Sharpe said “I am surprised at the way goals are coming for me. I am in my ideal role now. I am not expected to stay wide all the time. I am scoring when I come from deep positions. Now I dream about scoring the match-winner for England with a few minutes to go.”
