Graeme Souness ordered a repeat of previous Sunday’s win at Arsenal – and were relying on the same players to achieve it. The Liverpool boss had called for the same show of determination against improving Nottingham Forest, knowing that a second consecutive victory would confirm Reds’ revival.
Graeme Souness said “I want us to show the same attitude as we showed on Sunday. I want us to maintain the same determination to win a game of football. That’s all I’m asking.”
Souness announced he had no further injury worries and was likely to go with the same team once again.
