Gerry Francis Queen Park Rangers

As QPR got ready to face Middlesborough in the Saturday afternoon game, their coach Gerry Francis felt that his side has managed to turn a corner in their 3-0 victory over Swindon in FA Cup. Scoring goals had not been a problem for the west London outfit but clean sheets had come at a premium for them. His side had not managed to keep a clean sheet in the league for 2 months.

Gerry Francis said, “What really pleased me in the Swindon game was that we defended well and kept a clean sheet. Tony Roberts made a couple of world-class saves.”
