Howard Kendall Everton

The Goodison Park boss was in Glasgow that day on a scouting mission, attending the Scottish premier league match between Rangers and Dundee United. The man in Kendal’s sights was Duncan Ferguson of Dundee. The tall striker had been linked with many clubs and was available for around £2 million. HE was still not a finished article and had multiple run-ins with regards to discipline problems but Kendall believed that he could be the man to pull his Everton side out of the trouble.
