Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson insisted that their main challenge was to perform well to stay at the top after his side scored an impressive victory over Tottenham.
Alex Ferguson said, “It keeps the edge on us when teams around us are playing well – like Aston Villa winning 2-1 at Liverpool – but our players are enjoying their football. We know we have to perform well to stay at the top. As soon as we got the first goal we went looking for more, but we did get a bit careless towards the end.”
