Arsenal’s Ian Wright could be banned for at least nine matches if the football association follows the precedent set by the punishment to club mate Paul Davis, who was found guilty by trail by television four years earlier. Fiery England striker Wright was caught by the cameras swinging a right hook at Tottenham midfielder David Howells during the North London Derby at White hart Lane. Wright was not booked by Alf Buksh who contented himself with a stern lecture to both the players.
