#PLStories – #GrahamPotter reveals #MichalKarbownik is training well for Brighton but not ready yet #BHAFC

Graham Potter Brighton

Michal Karbownik had a full 90 minutes versus Manchester City three weeks ago to follow his senior debut in the FA Cup defeat by Leicester.

Head coach Graham Potter said “Michal Karbownik had a slight injury before he came with us and missed a bit of time. He needed that training time, needed some match exposure. He got more than probably we planned against Leicester but came through fine. That nest under-23s game he played was to just build up that match fitness. He is still adapting, he is still a young player. That is where he is at the moment – competing with us, training every day. At the same time we are mindful of where he is at in his career and we need to keep helping him improve.”

Karbownik joined up with the Seagulls in January as his loan back to previous club Legia Warsaw was cut short.
