#PLStories- #SteveBruce reveals Newcastle United injury boost ahead of Wolves #NUFC

Steve Bruce has confirmed Newcastle United’s Brazilian striker Joelinton is fit to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday night.
The Magpies, who are currently 17th in the Premier League table, host Wolves at St James’ Park in Sky Sports’ late kick-off.
Bruce will be without star striker Callum Wilson, but confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Joelinton is available. The striker started Newcastle’s defeat to Manchester United last weekend before being replaced just before the hour mark due to a groin problem.
“Joelinton is OK,” Bruce said, as quoted by the Chronicle. “Federico Fernández has trained all week but tomorrow still might be a bit too early for him. We have no new injuries.”

Wolves, meanwhile, have pulled clear of relegation trouble with 10 points from their last four games – including a 1-0 victory over Leeds United last time out.
The Molineux men dominated the game against Newcastle earlier this season before Jacob Murphy’s late free-kick snatched Bruce’s side a point.
Newcastle have been on a slippery slope since that fixture and now sit just three points above the relegation zone, with many tipping them to go down.
“When the daffodils are up the crux of the season is upon us,” Bruce added. “We’ve still got a lead. But it seems Newcastle are the only ones in it. There are six or seven teams.
“Can we finish above the six or seven? That’s the aim. I’m quietly confident we can do that.”
