Chris Wilder was furious with the decision not to award Sheffield United a penalty late on in the 1-0 defeat at Fulham. Jayden Bogle was brought down in the area by keeper Alphonse Areola in a challenge Wilder believes could have seriously hurt his player.
Chris Wilder raged: “Where are these decisions coming from?. I am not having that, we had John Lundstram sent off for being reckless and not being in control. I am delighted that my young right wing-back is back on the coach tonight – delighted he’s not somewhere else. You can’t tell me the keeper is in control. It’s reckless. I don’t get it. We’ve had a ball over the line (Aston Villa), which I still haven’t forgotten, but they don’t have to worry about us for much longer, there will be another promoted team coming to get these crap decisions.”
It capped off a miserable night at Craven Cottage for the Blades.
