Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is hopeful his injury crisis is easing. The Blades have had a clutch of players missing over the past month. You only have to look at their substitutes’ bench from recent encounters to see that. Against Chelsea in their most recent Premier League game, Wilder could only name six from a possible nine players on his bench. However, Wilder is hopeful that two key players could make a return to action in tomorrow night’s FA Cup fifth-round clash with Bristol City at Bramall Lane. Full-back Enda Stevens has been missing since the win over Plymouth in the last round of the competition.

Chris Wilder said: “Lys Mousset has returned today and Enda’s also trained today which is good news for us. We’re hopeful that they’re both involved on Wednesday night. It’s a bit of good news. Jack (Robinson) has got an ongoing knee issue and we haven’t got a date for him to come back. It flared up about a month ago unfortunately. It was unfortunate to happen in training so Jack’s not available for us at the moment.”

Regarding French forward Mousset, who has featured just seven times this season, Wilder admits he wants to see more from the 25-year-old heading into the latter half of the campaign.

Chris Wilder added: “From our point of view, it’s about getting to the bottom of his issues. And really, there has to be a big push by the player now to participate and to add something that we know he’s got. He understands our feelings on him. There’s certain things he controls and he has to make a contribution in the second half of the season. I want it to happen but he’s got to make it happen and want it to happen. And fingers crossed he can do.”
