Dean Smith says Aston Villa need a result at home. The Seagulls have never won at Villa Park and suffered late heartbreak on their two most recent visits.Since thrashing Liverpool 7-2, Villa have lost at home to Leeds and Southampton in their most recent home fixtures. But they have a perfect record on the road and made a huge statement just before the international break by winning 3-0 at Arsenal.
Dean Smith said “We will be reminding them of the good things they did against Arsenal, but also things that we can improve. We need a result at Villa Park because our last two haven’t been good. I’m expecting a really tough game. They have some very good players and we certainly have to be at our best. They will be disappointed that they haven’t got the results that the stats suggest they should have.”
