Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti hopes to have his transfer targets signed in time to begin the preparations for the new campaign, with Everton looking for a centre-half, a central midfielder and a right-winger. The new season is due to start on 12th of September giving just a little over one and a half month for all teams to conduct their transfer business and preseason. Everton especially needs to offload many players and strengthen in some key areas ahead of the new season and Ancelotti is hoping that they can do enough in the short time span available.
Carlo Ancelotti said “I think the best scenario is to have the new players for when we start (pre-season) in the middle of August, This is the best scenario but I understand that the market is so long so maybe this cannot happen immediately. It will be important to be able to reach the right targets.”
