Jurgen Klopp admits his Liverpool players must recover from being in “party” mode before travelling to St James’ Park for the final day of the season clash against Newcastle United. The premier league trophy was handed over to Liverpool after they beat Chelsea 5-3 last night which sparked wild celebration at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp said “Now we have a party, then we have to recover, then we play Newcastle. We have 96 points and it would obviously be really nice if we could get 99. It will be difficult but who cares – it was very difficult (on Wednesday) because Chelsea was so good and the boys did it anyway. We have another game in three days then a few days off then we start again. We will be ready.”
