Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has his heart set on a future at Molineux and will not be leaving the club any time soon. The 46-year-old boss has just under a year left on his current deal at the club with reports claiming that an extension will soon be signed. That deal would prove a huge boost to Wolves who, under Nuno, have romped from the Championship to within touching distance of their second European campaign on the trot. Currently sixth in the Premier League, Wolverhampton Wanderers still stand an outside shot at sneaking into the top four but would require plenty of stunning upsets in fixtures elsewhere to do so. Instead, they look set to place sixth if they can fend off Tottenham Hotspur in seventh.
Nuno Espirito Santo said “I have 11 months left on my contract, so the contract is there. And when you sign something your obligation is to see it through. It will happen, I still have a contract so there’s no point in thinking about anything else.”
In recent seasons, Nuno has been linked with vacant managerial posts at Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs – but is yet to have his head turned.
