James McCarthy said: “Obviously that would be an ideal scenario, but we won’t get carried away. We know we’ve got a lot of tough games to come and we’ll take it a game at a time. But as I’ve said before, we need to make sure we’re looking up the table instead of behind us. Within this squad we know that we can push on this season and make sure we finish strongly. There’s no reason why not but at the same time, we won’t look too far ahead. We’re on a good run and we need to get that momentum back and go again.”
