Adama Traore can leave Wolverhampton Wanderers ‘any day’ according to one member of the club’s transfer committee. The Spanish winger has enjoyed a stunning season under Nuno Espirito Santo, scoring six and assisting 12 in 43 matches for Wolves. Traore’s impressive showings have been integral to Wolves’ run to the last 16 of the Europa League, as well as cementing their place in the top six of the Premier League.

He is attracting lots of interest ahead of the summer transfer window and Top dogs across Europe are weighing in to sign the former La Masia product. And Wolves’ loans manager Seyi Olofinjana, who enjoyed four years at Molineux as a player, admits Traore could move on.

Seyi Olofinjana said: “He is a good player and we’ve all seen what he is capable of doing. He’s been doing it for the past few seasons, so we are very much aware of what he brings to the table. In terms of what will happen to him going forward, the league has not ended, so we need to wait for that. We can’t ignore the fact that he has done very well for the club. Anybody can leave Wolves, he came from somewhere and he can leave any day. Regarding genuine transfer interest in our players, there are procedures and policies that we consider as a club, they tell us whether it is the right step for us or not.”
