Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi believes manager Brendan Rodgers is the reason the club aren’t missing Harry Maguire. Harry Maguire joined Manchester United for a world record fee for a defender in August last year. Ndidi thinks that Rodgers’ willingness to use all of his squad and afford chances to those on the periphery is the reason behind Leicester City doing so well after selling Maguire.

Wilfred Ndidi said “It is the Brendan Rodgers effect,It’s not just about the eleven players that play, the players on the bench, even the Under-23 players, he carries everybody along, so there is always space for anybody to fill in. He’s the kind of coach that believes in the squad, not just focusing on one player, the squad comes first.”

Soyuncu had actually arrived a year before Maguire departed but had to bide his time because of his fellow defender’s form.
