David Moyes confirms quick healer Tomas Soucek is back fit for West Ham’s trip to Arsenal. The Czech Republic star was expected to be out until the Tottenham game. But Moyes has revealed he has healed quickly in a massive boost to West Ham’s survival bid.

David Moyes said “We’re getting much closer to a full squad, Tomas Soucek’s doing very well and he’s just about match-fit, very close to it now, so he’s recovered very quickly. Andriy’s (Yarmolenko_ not available this weekend, he’s only just started training, but Tomas has got a very good chance (of featuring).”

Moyes is facing his former player Mikel Arteta as West Ham will be playing away at Arsenal. West Ham lifted themselves out of the relegation zone with a fine 3-1 win over Southampton last time out. But they only remain there on goal difference after Watford’s shock win over Liverpool and Bournemouth’s draw with Chelsea.

Pablo Fornals believes West Ham United can use last Saturday’s victory over Southampton as a springboard for the closing stretch of the 2019/20 Premier League season. The popular Spanish midfielder has registered five assists and two goals since the 1-0 win at Chelsea in late November, becoming a fans’ favourite for his technical ability and non-stop work-rate.

Pablo Fornals said “We are in a good moment and I am absolutely convinced we can get a result at Arsenal. It was a big win, a massive win, but it’s not the last game [of the season], We have a lot of matches remaining and we need to keep going to reach our goals. I’m feeling good and we want to be successful for our fans – I just want to continue playing well for them. It was fun to play in Saturday’s game. We are a great team when we are playing well and we can create a lot.

Fornals grabbed one of his five assists when he set up Angelo Ogbonna to score in the reverse fixture with Arsenal in December, only for the Gunners to come from a goal down to win 3-1 at London Stadium.

West Ham United has today announced the launch of a new Sensory Room at London Stadium to provide a space for people with sensory needs to enjoy Hammers matchdays in a calm and comfortable environment. Some fans with sensory difficulties, particularly children, can experience anxiety and panic amidst the noise and numbers of a football crowd.

West Ham announced “As West Ham United, we’re a family club – we want all families to be able to come along no matter what. Nothing should prevent you from coming along, so if this can help, that would be great. We’ve got a lot of supporters who have non-visible disabilities, autism being one of them, so to see this Sensory Room opening makes us really proud of the Club. The thought that you’re opening up that matchday experience to people who have never had it before is brilliant.”

Support for the new Sensory Room was echoed by West Ham United first-team players Jack Wilshere and Angelo Ogbonna, who attended a soft launch event last month.

West Ham’s January signing Jarrod Bowen wants to continue scoring goals for the hammers and repay the faith that the East London club has shown in him.

Jarrod Bowen said “he feeling of scoring a goal is the best feeling! It’s what you dream of, scoring goals, so when I see the chance there to score a goal, I’m going to try and get there because there is nothing better than seeing the ball hit the back of the net and you run off celebrating and everyone is congratulating you. I enjoy scoring goals. I embrace it. And at Hull I was lucky enough to score a lot of them. You have to be a bit selfish. Sometimes it’s easier to pass the ball sideways or give it to someone else to do it, but the famous saying is ‘if you don’t shoot, you don’t score’. You might have three or four shots but even if only one goes in, it might be the goal that wins you the game or gets you back into the game. I’ll never have a fear of shooting!”

Bowen scored his first goal for the club in the win against Southampton and had also come very close to scoring against Liverpool in the match prior to that at Anfield.
