The Eagles signed Ray Wilkins from Queens Park Rangers on a Bosman transfer, but the club’s season was disrupted after an injury sidelined him for six weeks.

The veteran midfielder was a part of Crystal Palace who faced an embarrassing 6-1 defeat against Liverpool. The player hobbled out because of injury with a fractured left foot on the opening day.
