Kevin Moran played for Manchester United for over 10 seasons and made 231 appearances. He was let go by Alex Ferguson as a free transfer and the Scotsman later admitted that letting Moran go was one of the greatest mistakes of his managerial career. But four years later, Moran was 37 and still playing for Blackburn and Ireland & he admitted that he still had a soft spot for his former team but said that his mind was fully focused on the job at hand with his new team Blackburn Rovers.

Kevin Moran said “As much as I’d like United to win the league, Blackburn still have a chance of qualifying for Europe so we will go into the game looking for three points. I hope that we can get our points and United go on to lift the title.”
