Norwich manager Mike Walker was delighted with his side’s fighting win over Leeds and insisted that despite his side getting written off time and time again, his players had responded every single time and bounced back. He expected that after their crucial win over Leeds, his side would continue to fight till the last possible moment for the premier league title.
Mike Walker said “Obviously we needed to get three points, that was made known to the players and they responded very well. We have just got to keep on and try to win as many of our last three matches that we can. If they know we are still snapping at their heels, it keeps the pressure on. We keep getting written off, and we keep coming back. I am pleased because we had two hammerings and we had a word with the players and this is how they responded.”
